It was one of the first hotels on The Walk promenade, so it secured one of the best plots in the area. Its real treasure is a large green garden with palm trees — something you simply don’t get with the newer glass high-rises next door. It feels like a proper resort, not just a city hotel. The interiors follow Sheraton’s classic style (a bit on the conservative side), but the service and the location have kept it a consistent top seller for years.

I’d recommend it to guests who want to sunbathe during the day and be able to walk out in the evening straight into Dubai’s nightlife hub.

When booking, always try to secure a Sea View room. The evening view of Bluewaters Island and the observation wheel is a key reason people choose this hotel. Also consider the meal plan: Half Board (HB) is excellent value here, as the dinners are high quality and varied.
