Advantages and disadvantages
A rare green area for JBR. The palm trees provide natural shade — a real lifesaver in the heat.
A private, wide beach with a gentle entry into the sea. As the hotel sits slightly away from the busiest parts, it feels calmer than the public stretches of JBR.
Step out of the hotel and you’re straight on The Walk promenade with restaurants and shops. It’s a 10-minute walk to Ain Dubai — in short, the location is excellent.
A very solid Pirates Kids Club and a separate shaded children’s pool.
A great fitness centre and water sports available right on the beach.
The hotel is a classic older property, so the furniture and overall design can feel a bit “tired” or dated compared with newer Rixos or Address hotels.
There is ongoing renovation/construction nearby, so some rooms may face neighbouring sites.
At weekends the hotel and beach can get very busy due to Beach Pass day visitors.
During peak dates, queues for the lifts are possible — you may need to wait at times.
