A quiet family hotel with its own beach

Management has changed and room renovations are underway. There are two buildings: one on the first line and one on the second line.

It’s a hotel for a quiet holiday. The nature is very beautiful and it suits family stays.

There’s nowhere to go out — you’re essentially in the forest. There is a shuttle to Afitos, a very pretty and authentic village.

Pricing is very reasonable. The hotel has a Byzantine-style design.

“Simantro” is named after an ancient Greek instrument.

There is a kids’ club, free of charge.

Two outdoor freshwater pools. The indoor pool is heated.

Spa is paid; the heated indoor pool is free. The spa smells of incense.

The grounds and beach feel comfortable. Beach access is free; towels require a €10 deposit, and towels are changed daily free of charge.

For early check-in, breakfast costs €20 per person; you can also have lunch in the taverna.

For late arrivals, you can grab a snack at the snack bar for €3–€5. Water is provided.

Some rooms are renovated and some are not.

The sea is close (first line). The nearest shop is about a 15-minute drive away.

Private beach with a beach bar.

The beach is very good: sandy, with a wide shoreline, and cliffs with nice nature on both sides.

Drinks and snacks can be brought to the beach for an extra charge.

At dinner, water is extra: €2 for a large bottle.

Good Wi-Fi across the whole property.

The staff are very hardworking. The hotel usually confirms bookings, as it has a large number of rooms.

There’s a large mini market on site with essentials (including cigarettes and wine).
